All day I have been thinking of this great video that I want to do.
I will tell you how I woke up at 5:00 am
Got the girls fed and ready for school
At walmart before 7:00 am
At work before 7:20
Gave a donation of soaps to a local church with a homeless ministry
Picked up one of my daughters after school
Went back to work
Then came home
Cooked two dinners
and listened to stories about the girls days at school
Got the girls showers
In the bed by 9:00 pm
and now on to Hazel’s Soapery work!
all true and with a point.
My point was that I am like so many of us. I run all day, from sun up to sun down and then some. I am Partner, Mom, Worker, Friend, Sister, Daughter, Business Owner and Camille.
Sometimes after all the duties of the day are done, I need a moment to myself. A moment to unwind or get hyped up. A moment of respite, that belongs to me and only me. Usually, after everyone is asleep I slip into the shower and use a spa bar and I re-calibrate. I center myself and I reconnect with me. That is what Hazel’s Soapery is about.
It’s about you finding the time to re-calibrate. For the you that doesn’t have the time to go to the spa and get a massage. The everyday you that wants to smell clean and fresh, have soft well moisturized skin. The you that just needs a moment to herself, however fleeting it may be.
